The Personality and Temperament of the Puli is cheerful and youthful. This breed tends to have the attitude of a puppy throughout its lifetime which makes it very amusing and fun to be around. This is a hard-working, enthusiastic and devoted dog that loves its owners and feels naturally protective towards them. This breed wants to do right by its owners and it will often feel suspicious of unfamiliar people, therefore, it is important to socialize puppies accordingly from a young age. This is a very bright and lively breed that likes playing. It is energetic and will require daily activity and exercise to keep it mentally and physically satisfied. This is a strong and confident breed that has a nice temperament making it an ideal family pet, however, children must be shown how to treat puppies and dogs properly. The Puli can be trained fairly easily with time and patience. Dogs and puppies are alert, curious and observational which makes them good watchdogs.
