The Personality and Temperament of the Dachshund is very enthusiastic and willing. This breed of puppy and dog is eager to please and shows confidence and bravery. They should be trained correctly and from an early age to enable them to socialize and interact well as adult dogs and to behave in an obedient manner. This breed tends to be a little stubborn which can sometimes result in training being a little difficult and slow, however, it is definitely worth it as this breed of puppy and dog will behave very well as a consequence and will show respect and loyalty towards both their owners and those to whom it is unfamiliar. This is a lovely, spirited and fun-loving breed that has a very affectionate and lovable personality and temperament.  Puppies and dogs from the Dachshund breed are lively, alert and active and require plenty of time for playing. They have cheerful personalities which makes them very pleasant company.
