Due to the energy levels of the breed, the Weimaraner must be provided with a lot of daily exercise and activity. This dog can become bored fairly easily so owners should vary the type of exercise given to them. This is an intelligent breed that learns easily but again, it may become bored so it is also important to vary training techniques in order to maintain the concentration of the puppy or dog. If this spirited and cheerful breed is given the right amount of exercise and correct training, it will make a loving and affectionate family pet that will enjoy spending time with its owners and will show them loyalty and respect. This is a friendly dog that usually gets along with people. Owners should socialize their Weimaraner from a young age so that it knows how to behave around strangers when it grows into an adult dog.
