The Personality and Temperament of the Silky Terrier is very bright and lively. This breed has a lot of love to give to their owners whom they love spending time with. This isn't a solitary dog and behaves better when given lots of time and attention. They are very affectionate and show their family a lot of devotion and respect. Puppies and dogs from this breed are very energetic and active so they must be given plenty of activity and exercise on a daily basis. Dogs that are not exercised suitably may start to show signs of disruptive behavior. This little dog is very bold and courageous despite its size and it has a very keen and eager temperament; wanting to please its owners and make them happy! The Silky Terrier is very spirited and fun-loving, it is also trainable which helps to make this breed such a good companion. These dogs and puppies are friendly and enjoy socializing with people so it is important to let them meet strangers from a young age.
