The Poodle dog grooming instruction for caring for your dog's hair or coat is as follows: - The Poodle has a harsh coat that is naturally curly or corded. The coat should be professionally groomed every 6 to 8 weeks, and the puppy or dog should be bathed on a regular basis. There are different types of clipping styles that owners can choose from which include a pet clip or lamb clip where the hair is clipped short all over the body. The English saddle and the Continental clip where the rear half is shaved, pom-poms are left on the tails and hips, and bracelets are left around the ankles. Other types of clips are known as the Miami, bikini, town, country, kennel and utility clips.
