The Personality and Temperament of the Lhasa Apso is very bright and cheerful. This joyful little dog is quite independent and unique. It likes to think for itself which can make obedience training a little slow and difficult. This breed will not always listen to its master. Puppies tend to respond better to motivational training and it enjoys a challenge. Training and socialization should start from a young age as this breed is very friendly towards its owners but can be wary and suspicious of strangers. This jolly breed is better owned by a family that has older children as opposed to younger children. This is a dignified and charming breed of puppy and dog that can sometimes be a little mischievous. It has an assertive personality and temperament and can be somewhat aloof at times. This little dog makes a nice pet if it is provided with the right training. It is an alert and amusing breed with its different and unique personality and temperament.
