History and Origins of the German Pinscher
The History and Origins of the German Pinscher is really interesting. The history of the German Pinscher began in Germany, where is was formally recognized in 1879 and was supported by the German Pinscher Schnauzer Club from 1894. The German Pinscher is more closely associated to the Schnauzer as opposed to other Pinscher breed. The dog was originally bred as a guardian and a hunter of game. It is very courageous, fearless, confident and bold which are all attributes which helped it to achieve a high status in its field. This breed of puppy and dog is very energetic, active and has high levels of stamina and endurance; also very important attributes to their personalities. This breed of dog is a natural guardian as its senses are highly developed, they are intelligent, extremely alert and observant and show willing when it comes to obedience training. It wasn't until 2003 that this breed was recognized by the American Kennel Club.
