This breed isn't too difficult to house train and they are very adaptable to family life as they love human companionship and are not in any way solitary pets. This breed of puppy and dog wouldn't cope well in a kennel or yard as they thrive on human interaction. This is a willing and enthusiastic breed of puppy and dog that shows dedication and loyalty towards their owners. They are very energetic and should be given adequate daily exercise. They also like to play so it is important that they are provided with a backyard in which they can exert energy, play and run around. The English Setter is very loving and have genuine personalities and temperaments. They are gentle natured and friendly; they like to be liked by everyone and happily show displays of affection towards their family. This is an appealing dignified, elegant and graceful breed of puppy and dog that makes very pleasurable company.
