This breed has a loving and easy-going nature, it is even-tempered and has an affectionate temperament. Dogs and puppies from the Dandie Dinmont Terrier love and respect their owners. They are very friendly towards their families but a little more reserved around unfamiliar people, therefore, it is important to socialize them from an early age to avoid this happening when they become adult dogs. This breed of puppy and dog shows eagerness and enthusiasm, they have cheerful personalities and they are bright, spirited and lively.
