With the right owner who provides suitable training, this dog will behave very well and will form a great bond, be loving, affectionate and make very pleasant company. However, with a passive owner, this breed of puppy and dog can become dominant and controlling. This breed tends to be a little stubborn, it's an independent thinker and will often do as it pleases. It isn't quite as willing to please as some other breeds. This breed can be a little lazy so it's important to take them out for a daily walk as this is good for them both physically and mentally. Dogs and puppies from this breed tend to have a air of authority and importance about them. They are really quite dignified and proud. With the right owner, this dog can make an excellent and well-behaved pet as it will be very devoted and faithful.
