The Personality and Temperament of the Bulldog is very even and agreeable. The Bulldog was originally bred to fight, however, the breed has since been developed and any harsh characteristics have been removed. This is an extremely popular family pet as it is adored for its wrinkly appearance and the big shows of love and affection that it makes towards its owners. The Bulldog bonds very well with humans, especially children to whom they feel a great sense of protection, however, as with any breed of dog, they should be supervised, particularly around young children. This is kind-hearted animal that doesn't show any sign of fear, it has great courage and makes a particularly good watchdog. Training can be a little difficult as they can be a little slow on the uptake, if not a little determined and stubborn. This breed of puppy and dog loves its owners and becomes very attached to them. It enjoys attention and is has a very affectionate and loving temperament and personality.
