- The American Kennel Club recognised the Bloodhound in 1885

- This breed really does have feelings, it must be spoken to in a gentle manner!
- Dogs have such an excellent sense of smell, they are often used to search for criminals!
- Dogs and puppies are very loving, kind and affectionate
