However, the typical temperament of this breed is very calm, gentle and mild. It is generally laid-back and quite placid. Dogs and puppies are very lovable. They are not only cute in appearance, they are also high-spirited, cheeful and happy animals, particularly if their needs are cared for well. Dogs and puppies are playful and have high levels of energy so they require a fair amount of exercise that is varied as this will help to stimulte their minds.
